NutriTrace
Self-hosted personal nutrition and calorie tracker
Alternative to: myfitnesspal, cronometer, lose it, waistline

v1.0.0-rc.14
2026-05-03Android app is now available
NutriTrace ships as a native Android app for the first time, alongside the existing PWA. Download nutritrace-1.0.0-rc.14.apk below, install on your device (you may need to enable “Install from unknown sources”), and use it standalone or connect it to your NutriTrace server.
What you get on Android — Health Connect for steps / sleep / heart rate / weight, native barcode scanning, native notifications (water reminders, meal prompts, goal celebrations), and OIDC SSO via deep link.
Issues and feedback welcome on this repo.
Settings (since rc.13)
- New layout: Goals leads Data & Tracking, Notifications joins App, admin-only sections gather under a dedicated Admin group, About is a standalone footer.
- “User Management” → “Users”. The longer label was redundant since the section is admin-gated.
- “Delete my account” no longer duplicated under Backup & Restore; Profile → Danger zone is the single source.
- Three description tweaks (Page banners / Show yesterday’s meals / Goal pulse animation) for clarity.
Wizard
- Target weight defaults to your current weight instead of a hardcoded “lose 10” placeholder. Tap Next to maintain; nudge it up or down if you’re trying to gain or lose.
