Highlights

Tribu 2.0

The web app is redesigned around what a family does most: see the day, put something on the list, tick it off. The web app and the Tribu Android app now share one structure, one wording and one design system (design direction, design tokens).

  • Navigation: Today, Plan, Lists and Family, with the account behind the avatar and one search for content and areas. (#525, #526)
  • Today: the day as one timeline of events, due tasks, meals and birthdays, with the person’s avatar, overdue tasks folded as “Still open”, the week ahead in a line per day and hints only when they help. Tapping an event opens its details right there. (#522, #524, #549)
  • ”+” understands what you type: “Tomorrow 3 pm dentist Max”, “2 kg apples” or several lines create the right entries. (#521)
  • Shopping: compact rows by default, tap to put in the basket, long press for details, undo instead of confirm dialogs. The family sees who is out shopping (“Anna is shopping right now”), and items say which recipe or meal they are for (“250 g · for Lasagne”). (#520, #544, #548)
  • Tasks: grouped by Overdue, Today, Upcoming and No date; swipe right to finish, left to postpone; a recurring task says when it comes back. (#519, #538, #546)
  • Calendar: an agenda under a swipeable week strip on phones, with person chips. (#527)
  • Meal plan: the week is the content, ingredients go to the list with a preview, and an empty slot suggests favourites and recent meals. (#529, #545)
  • Family: a family hub with everyone’s day, birthdays and activity; families can turn off areas they do not use (recipes, gifts, rewards, school timetables and more). (#533, #534)
  • Children get a Today of their own and suggest entries that an adult confirms. (#540, #541)
  • Settings on three levels: this device (including a system appearance), my account and family. (#530)

On the phone and offline

  • Reminders get buttons: Done and Remind me in 1 hour for tasks and events, and a new meal reminder the evening before, naming what is not on the shopping list yet, with Add to list. (#537, #551)
  • Home screen shortcuts for starting shopping, a new shopping item and a new event. (#536)
  • Checking off without a network keeps it done, marks it as waiting and sends it once the network is back; the offline banner no longer flashes up for short dropouts. (#547)
  • One-time tips explain the swipes on touch devices. (#553)

Fixes

  • Calendar feeds import changed occurrences and more recurrence rules. (#513)
  • Household activity and counted texts read right in every language (“1 item”, not “1 items”). (#531, #543)
  • Plain page titles for recipes, templates, timetables, notifications and the weekly plan. (#542)

Upgrade notes

  • Database migrations 0062–0068 run through Tribu’s normal upgrade path; none of them rewrites existing data.
  • New push category Meal reminders, on by default. People who do not want them turn it off under Settings → My account → Notifications.
  • The Tribu Android app 2.0 needs this release for its new features.

Maintenance

  • Frontend dependency updates. (#515)
