Smarter shopping lists
Tribu now remembers the latest category chosen for each product in a family. Compatible active items are merged, matching quantities are added together, and checked items can be restored instead of creating unnecessary duplicates. The same behavior applies to manual entry, Quick Capture, recipes, meal plans, and household templates. (#455)
Calendar preferences and richer sync
- Choose Monday or Sunday as the first day of the week. The preference is applied immediately to month and week views and kept for future visits. (#437)
- CalDAV and ICS exports now preserve assigned family members, event categories, and Tribu colors without exposing family login email addresses. (#439)
Clearer Quick Capture
Quick Capture text and placeholders now remain readable in light, dark, and midnight-glass themes. (#454)
Security and maintenance
- Resolves the reported frontend dependency advisories and updates backend, frontend, container, and GitHub Actions dependencies.
- Adds automated Dependabot coverage for npm, pip, Docker, and GitHub Actions.
- Updates the container bases to Node.js 26 and Python 3.14, with the release tests and multi-platform image builds passing on the final commit.
No manual migration steps are required. Database migrations run through Tribu’s normal upgrade path.
