v1.35.1
2024-10-18Description
rotki v1.35.1 is a patch release containing improvements and bugfixes made in the last 2 weeks.
From features the one standing out is the ability to input API keys for both defillama and coingecko if you have paid API keys of those services. There is multiple bugs solved, most important of which affects users of TheGraph protocol who had a ton of useless transactions in their DB. This will now be fixed and in many cases will reduce DB size ranging from 50%-90%.
Also a very important change is an optimization in decoding speed which optimizes, especially for transactions involving mass sending of tokens, the time to finish a transaction decoding by up to 95%!!!

These were the highlights. Check below for the full changelog
New Features
- #8696 It’s now possible to input Defillama pro API keys in rotki and have higher rate limits. Buy a defillama pro key here: https://defillama.com/pro-api. Similar for coingecko pro API keys. You can get one here: https://www.coingecko.com/en/premium/pricing
- Gnosis pay referral rewards will now be properly seen as referrals and not generic receive.
- The price of vTHOR will now be properly queried.
Bug Fixes
- yearn vaults data will be properly queried only once and error handling is improved.
- #8715 Fix the issue where the historical price doesn’t refresh after being updated on the history events page.
- EURe price will always be considered equal to EUR.
- During user DB upgrade if there is an irregular shutdown the previous DB backup will be properly located in the rotki data user directory and not the system temp directory.
- #8668 Changes the tag filter logic from OR to AND in the account view.
- Graph delegation log queries will now query a smaller amount of events. For users who had moved graph staking to Arbitrum and ended up having over 180k transactions in their DB, this should now be fixed and the DB size should be normal again.
- Fix an error querying the exit timestamp for the ethereum validators.
- #8669 Fixes double conversion for displayed price in manual balances when not using USD as the selected currency.
- Better handling of failure to fetch data from yearn API.
