2024-09-15This update includes improved HEIC file support for iOS 18 compatibility, updated dependencies and translations, UX enhancements, and fixes for recently discovered issues. Please note that a complete re-scan of your library is required to increase the GPS location accuracy of pictures, e.g. under Places. .heicimage file support for compatibility with iOS 18 by @farindk - Search: Sidecar files are no longer shown in the results when sorting by file size
- Archive: Recently archived pictures are displayed first by default
- Places: Fixed an issue where no pictures were found when clicking on clusters
- Library: Removed the archive button from the action menu under Library > Hidden
- API: Fixed an issue where update requests could fail silently in case of database errors by @keif888
- API: Added interactive Swagger developer documentation with examples by @graciousgrey
- Security: Go has been updated to v1.22.7, which includes security and bug fixes

Installation Packages
The packages attached to this release are intended for experienced users and maintainers of third-party integrations only, as they require manual configuration and do not include tested system dependencies. Since we are unable to provide support for custom installations, we recommend using one of our Docker images to run PhotoPrism on a private server or NAS device.
